Assistant Service Manager

As an Assistant Service Manager, you will work closely with the Service Manager to serve as a role model and help lead the team of Service Technicians. This first step into a rewarding managerial role might include delegating daily work to the service team, helping trouble-shoot a repair, or train and mentor Service Technicians.

As a Groundskeeper, you are tasked with conducting daily inspections for overall cleanliness of the property. You will be responsible for the care, upkeep, and maintenance of all outdoor and common areas, including landscaped areas, pathways, pools, and courtyards. Our Groundskeepers have demonstrated expertise in gardening, groundskeeping, and plant care, as well as a general maintenance aptitude.

Service Manager

At Home Properties, our Service Managers are vital to our success. As a Service Manager, you may be asked to develop preventative maintenance programs, participate in the annual budgeting process, or oversee capital improvements. Service Managers ensure the Service Team has their daily activities and that vacant apartments are in rentable condition quickly; they also manage the scheduling of vendors and contractors when needed.  

Service/Maintenance Technician

This position provides an excellent entry into a career in apartment maintenance. Your daily role will include keeping the community buildings properly maintained and attending to open work order tickets. You’ll be working on various repairs, installations, and other general maintenance duties, which may involve the operation of building systems and related equipment and tools to complete tasks.
