Research New Jersey

Located between New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware, New Jersey is the fourth smallest, tenth most populous and the most densely populated state in the United States. Its median income is the highest in the nation, but New Jersey also has the highest cost of living in the nation. Three-quarters of the state's residents live in northern New Jersey, within just 30 miles of Manhattan. Many people commute into the city, but you don't have to because the local economy is going strong. New Jersey has the largest concentration of Fortune 500 companies. Its industries include agriculture, tourism, nursery products, electronics, manufacturing equipment and pharmaceuticals. The area is considered to have one of the best public education systems in the United States and more than half of its high school grads go onto college. You are a short drive from Broadway, Atlantic City casinos, 127 miles of beaches on the Jersey shore, Philadelphia and lots of recreation options in the Poconos and Delaware Water Gap.
