Thank you for your interest in Falkland Chase.
This website (revised July 2007) describes our current plans for redeveloping a portion of the Falkland Chase property (Falkland North) plus making a substantial investment to preserve and enhance the remainder. It is important to note that the Project Plan has been submitted to Montgomery County but it has not been approved. The public hearing with the Montgomery County Planning Board will be held on September 6, 2007. Therefore, this plan could change considerably. Also, some of the illustrations have not been submitted as part of the Project Plan.
We are very proud to be the owners and managers of Falkland Chase and consider this to be a substantial fiduciary responsibility. Our challenge is to develop a plan that is sustainable and achieves a balance among several interests that occasionally are conflicting. This includes the interests of our residents, our shareholders, our employees, the environment, historical preservation and the greater Silver Spring and Montgomery County community.
This website has several renderings and photographs that require a large memory. Therefore, you may choose to visit only those areas that interest you.
A considerable team of architects, landscape architects, engineers, arborists and consultants in market research, parking, traffic, legal and historical preservation assisted us in developing these plans.
