Home Properties Offers a Comprehensive Benefits Package Including:
Medical & Dental Coverage
All full-time regular employees that work a minimum of 30 hours per week are eligible for participation in the group medical and dental plan, effective the first of the month following their start date. Medical plan coverage includes prescription and vision. Home Properties contributes to the cost of the employee's group medical plan, and dental plan.
Vacation
All Full-Time Regular and Part-Time Regular employees are eligible for vacation, and begin accruing vacation time as of their hire date.
Holidays
10 days per year
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Full-Time Regular employees are eligible for seven days of paid time off benefits in a calendar year. Part-Time Regular employees who work 20-29 hours/week are eligible for four days of paid time off in a calendar year.
401(k) Plan
Home Properties employees who are at least twenty-one years old are eligible to make contributions to the plan. Employees eligible for the employer match will receive $.75 for every $1.00 they contribute to the 401(k) plan, up to 3% of gross pay.
Life Insurance
Full-Time Regular employees will receive life insurance coverage equal to one times their base annual salary, up to $50,000, beginning on the first day of the month following 30 days of service. The cost of this insurance is paid entirely by the Company. This coverage doubles in the case of accidental death. Additional insurance is available at the employee's cost.
Apartment Rental Discounts
All employees are eligible for 15% off the base market rental rate.
Employee Stock Purchase Program
Allows employees to purchase Home Properties common stock through payroll deduction or optional cash payments. Employees will not incur any transaction fees related to the stock purchase.
Flexible Spending Plan
Full-Time Regular employees that work a minimum of 30 hours per week are eligible to participate in the plan on the first of the month following their date of hire. The plan allows employees to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for non-reimbursed medical or dental charges and/or dependent care assistance.
