The Apartments at Cobblestone Square is a newly developed class-A apartment community located in historic Fredericksburg, Virginia. Construction of the eight, four-story buildings, housing 302 one- and two-bedroom apartments, began in early 2011 and is in the process of being completed. The Apartments at Cobblestone Square offers residents high-end amenities and a convenient location close to Old Town Fredericksburg and mass transit options including the Virginia Railway Express (VRE).
The center of the community is a refurbished 100-year-old rail depot that will feature amenities for the Cobblestone Square community, including Wi-Fi, a fitness center, clubroom with gaming area, and a business center. The depot is also home to 12 additional apartments, 10 of which will feature lofts, taking advantage of the tall interior spaces.
The community also has an outdoor pool and access to the adjacent 10-acre nature park. Cobblestone Square is also the trailhead for a planned trail system that will eventually link downtown with the area beyond the city limits.
